History

Background

In 1996, after InGen authorized the creation of a second airmobile regiment and parachute regiment, they realized they needed a place to train new infantry and paratroopers. So InGen formed "1st Training Battalion, 3rd Quarantine Enforcement Brigade" to train any new service members, including support personnel. Intial training would take place at Quarantine Enforcement Base Isla Tacano, with excursions onto neighboring islands for more advanced training.

Formation

In 1997, the original three year contracts began to expire and InGen needed to train more than 300 men by the end of the year, so they transfromed 1st Training Battalion into 4th Quarantine Enforcement Brigade (Training) and moved training to InGen Base San Diego. The brigade would intially consist of one contracting battalion and two recruit training battalions.

Brigade

After the transformation into a brigade, InGen realized they could more effectively train and equip reservists while they were not on deployment so they established the Reserve Support Centre.

Disbandment

In February 2004, with the impending opening of Jurassic World the next year, InGen orders the disbandment of 4th QEB and all reserve units.
