His Majesty James II, JC KV GCP KP KCVO MBE CH was the Prince of the Idaho Territory, King of Idaho, and the last Emperor of the Northwest. He was incredibly popular during the early 1900's. He was considered the "Last Great King of Idaho". He also served in the First World War as a Captain. He was later assassinated on 7 May 1934 by pro-Carlist militia.

Early life

James Albert Cooke II was born in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho on May 7, 1878 to James Cooke and Isabella Cooke. When he was 5 he joined the Coeur d'Alene Grand School and graduated with honours. When he was 10 he was forced into the Idahoan militia as a private to serve on the front line, though he was pulled out by his cousin who was the president of the newly formed Republic of Idaho. When he was 12 he was put on the throne of the Kingdom of Idaho though he would abdicate a few weeks later and gave it to his cousin John I.

Reign as king

James II had a short reign compared to his father and John but had a longer reign than his uncle William I. He passed many reforms including the abolishment of slavery and the title of the Emperor of the Northwest, he was instantly popular. When he abdicated the people knew that the end of the Kingdom was near.

World War I

James joined the United States Army and helped muster the Royal Idaho Regiment.
