The Taniguchi Emperor (7 March 4534 – 29 August 4625), also known as Emperor Taniguchi was the Emperor of Japan and the first and only Emperor of all China during the Twenty Years' War of Aggression.
Emperor Taniguchi during his early reign had much turmoil to deal with, enough to make his father, Emperor Yoshihara, to abdicate. As a result of this, Taniguchi went through many Prime Ministers and made him not want to immediately remilitarize after the defeat of his grandfather, Emperor Nishiyama during the Haiboku Era.

Emperor Taniguchi began Kokumin-teki kanki era with the appointing of Okano Yoshio as Prime Minister of Japan in 4579. Yoshio, an avid militarist and member of Teikoku Gunsei Shakai, immediately began the re-militarism campaign and large propaganda campaign to enlist soldiers and sailors. This campaign, along with strong support from the Emperor, helped enlist over 500,000,000 to the Imperial Japanese Armed Forces. The Emperor also personally ordered 1,000 destroyers, 850 light frigates, 800 heavy frigates, 500 battlecruisers, 150 battleships, and 75 carriers.
