Private Garai Mungoshi (October 15, 1999-October 6, 2019) was a Rhodesian soldier in the Rhodesian Army who served with the 4th Rhodesian Angolan Rifles during the Bosnia War and the Rhodesian-Zimbabwe War. He was one of six men awarded the Medal of Honor for leading a party into a ravine to dislodge the enemy but he was killed in action.
Biography
Garai John Mungoshi was born on October 15, 1999 in Peterborough, Rhodesia. He enlisted in the 2nd Company, 4th Rhodesian Angolan Rifles of the Rhodesian Army in Salisbury on July 15, 2018. He fought in the Bosnia War and the Rhodesian-Zimbabwe War, during the Rhodesian-Zimbabwe War he fought in the Battle of Hell Canyon where he was awarded the Medal of Honor.

While the enemy forces were concealed in a ravine, he led a small party of 4 men to dislodge the enemy, during the effort he was unfortunately killed in action.[1]
