The Legion for the Independence of Scotland (Gaelic: Legion airson Neo-eisimeileachd na h-Alba), more commonly know as the Scottish Legion (Gaelic: Legion Albannach) was a legion of the Irish Royal Army. The legion was formed in 1859 and served in every major campaign until it's disbandment in 1861 after the Battle of Kingscourt.
